Document P3 Bookseller's Description

An early vellum document in English.  The lease of property owned by Sir Dudly North in Suffolk (16 March 1639).  250x122 mm.  14 lines in English in a small but clear cursive hand, 6 lines of Latin in a similar hand on the reverse.

        A few light wrinkles, slight soiling, the seal missing, otherwise in pleasing condition.

        This document records a lease granted by Sir Dudly North, the 3rd Baron North...The baron had leased the property of Tolfork Hall in Suffolk to one Miles Willan, and this document specifies that, should Sillan die before the ending date of the lease, his heirs are required to continue the lease until the termination date.
