Manuscript Lab 1 Provenance

The document, composed of three sheets of paper folded in half to make a gathering in sixes, was discovered in the second volume of Edward Edwards' Memoirs of Libraries (London: Trubner, 1859).  The book was purchased by AS in 2007 from D&D Galleries, a rare book dealer in Sommerville, New Jersey, and it bears a library stamp from Providence Rhode Island, but contains no other provenance information.  The manuscript pages were intact when first opened, but the brittle paper on which they are written caused them to separate at the fold and they now exist as six separate leaves (Folios 1-6, Fo. 6v being blank).
