Checking Status of General Education Requirements for Graduation

If you are a faculty member:

        Go to the "Student Locator" in myGoucher, and when your advisee's name has been found, select the "Academic Plan" view. That will tell you the status of the advisee's General Education requirements. The view becomes extremely cluttered for some of the subsequent requirements, but "Writing Prof" is the first and it's easy to detect whether there is a check next to one of the pathways by which the students' can meet the requirement. A passed Writing Portfolio would show up as a check in the circle next to "CWP Requirement Academic Override." Please let me know if you detect any discrepancies with your or the student's records.
 

If you are a student:

        Go to your records in myGoucher, and select the "Academic Plan" view.  That will tell you the status of all of your General Education requirements.  The view becomes extremely cluttered for some of the subsequent requirements, but "Writing Prof" is the first and it's easy to detect whether there is a check next to one of the pathways by which you can meet the requirement.  A passed Writing Portfolio would show up as a check in the circle next to "CWP Requirement Academic Override."  Please tell the Registrar immediately if you detect any discrepancies between your records and the information recorded in the Academic Plan.  The latter is the "official" version of your record at Goucher, and the only one that counts toward graduation, so it's imperative that it be kept accurately.
